IRELAND - MILITARY ARCHIVES
The Military Archives has been the official place of deposit for records of the Defence Forces, the Department of Defence and the Army Pensions Board since 1990. Some of the earliest collections preserved by the Historical Section include the Collins Papers, Civil War Operations and Intelligence files and Captured Documents (Civil War up to 1925), which continue to be made available today.
IRELAND - THE IRISH WAR MEMORIALS PROJECT
The Irish War Memorials Project is a developing inventory of war memorials in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. It includes photographs of each memorial, and details of the sites. Each Casualty form has information such as name, date of birth, rank and previous occupation, and his transfers and movements during service in WWI. The date and circumstance of his death is recorded as well as the cemetery and plot number in which he is buried.

The aim of NZWGP is to photograph all the war graves and memorials of New Zealanders who, serving with New Zealand and Allied forces, died in conflicts, from the Anglo-Boer war (1899-1902), to the present day and in peacekeeping operations. The War Graves Project has identified 31,758 New Zealand war graves in 79 countries including New Zealanders serving with other Allied forces.
