IRELAND - REGISTRY OF DEEDS INDEX PROJECT
A repository of records of wills, land transactions in Ireland and other deeds from 1709. Many memorials involved people of modest means who were merchants and traders who registered deeds to provide some form of security of tenure. Moreover, Catholic occupiers are sometimes mentioned.

IRELAND - ROOTS IRELAND
This website contains an index and transcriptions of many Irish records, including the majority of the Irish Catholic parish registers. It was compiled in most cases from the parish registers held in the local parishes.

IRELAND - THE TITHE APPLOTMENT BOOKS
A vital source for genealogical research for the pre-Famine period, given the loss of the 1821-51 Census records. They were compiled between 1823 and 1837 in order to determine the amount which occupiers of agricultural holdings over one acre should pay in tithes to the Church of Ireland.

UNITED STATES - FREEDMEN'S BUREAU RECORDS
The Freedmen’s Bureau was organized near the end of the American Civil War to assist newly freed slaves in 15 states and the District of Columbia. Many details were collected and millions of records are available or are currently being indexed.

UNITED STATES - JEWISHGEN

UNITED STATES - MOOSE ROOTS
This site has millions of freely accessible census, birth, marriage, death, military records and more from USA. They appear to be working in conjunction with a variety of sites to provide this data. Some records require a free login and others link to external data (some paid, some free). Nice, easy to use search.

UNITED STATES - MORMON PIONEER OVERLAND TRAVEL 1847-1868
The Overland Travel Database project began more than 30 years ago as staff at the Church History Library began to explore ways to help people better understand the experience of their pioneer ancestors as they crossed the plains to the Great Basin.
